The Founders and Executive of Deal with Stuff are Lucas Sadler, Tony Cowan and Richard Anderson. All have had successful careers across many sectors and have come together to form Deal with Stuff as they all have an entrepreneurial flair, business expertise and a desire to make a difference to the to the communities they serve.
Lucas Sadler is a mean-green energy machine who has stamped his mark in the Energy sector for the past eight years has held senior roles in international and major national organisations. An avid supporter of Clean Energy, Lucas is at the forefront of Solar and Battery generation and sees the continuing move to renewables and self-sufficiency in both commercial and residential generation as being key to our future productivity and energy security.
Lucas has experienced roles leading Businesses in the Energy, Renewable Energy, Retail and FMCG marketplace. Lucas contributed to the success of Samsung’s arrival in Australia firstly as a National Manager – Telecommunications and as the Manager responsible for the Harvey Norman Account. Lucas was both a Harvey Norman Electrical and Computer Franchisee, awarded in 2009 the “Gold Franchisee Award” at the inaugural Global Electrical Franchisee Conference.
Lucas successfully transitioned to the Energy Business in 2010, with Executive responsibility for establishing Sales and Branch offices in the highly competitive Renewable Energy Sector (Solar & Storage), followed by the appointment as the Executive responsible for the Sales Leadership at Energy Australia’s Commercial & Industrial Business Sales Group.
Lucas was the founding Managing Director of Yingli Green Energy’s Asia Pacific business and served as the Chief Executive Officer for Horan & Bird. Most recently, Lucas was Portfolio Manager Storage & Solar Services at Origin Energy (Australia’s Largest Energy Company).
Lucas has supported his extensive Renewable Energy experience with positions on the board of The Australian Solar Council and The Australian Energy Storage Council during the most turbulent policy period faced by the Renewable Energy Industry.
Today, Lucas is utilising his strategic sales and operational leadership skills to drive organisational growth and change from a sales, service, marketing and business efficiency, from a sales, service, marketing and business efficiency perspective across a number of emerging growth sectors, new energy and home energy management.

With over 25 years of design and branding experience behind him, Tony has developed a large portfolio of successful work for local clients and national brands. The digital industry is full of hard to understand language, devices and concepts; Tony has helped a great number of clients navigate this pragmatically and simply with his work at ZEPHYR CREATIVE. Too many businesses have websites or apps that simply don’t deliver a business outcome, Tony applies his industry-wide exposure and experience by providing peer review and feedback about the client’s brief. Tony began his creative career with early design work with a major advertising agency that progressed to illustrative and animation work with one of Australia’s premier educational interactive multimedia studios.
For more than 14 years, Tony has been running a successful design studio, where he has had to work on almost every kind of project found in the design and marketing field. Richard Anderson is an experienced business leader and executive coach who has worked across a wide spectrum of industries and with hundreds of senior executives to support them in growing their businesses and careers. With a background in manufacturing and the professional services sector, Richard has held senior executive positions in Australia and New Zealand. Moving from large corporates in 2003 Richard launched and developed two leadership consultancies with very hands-on involvement in all aspects of the business. His last role was as Managing partner at Point Ahead, a Melbourne based firm. As an executive coach Richard has over 4000 hours of coaching experience, covering all sectors and executives from senior ranks to board members.
As a leader, he mentors staff to use coaching techniques in day to day business dealings as this leads to better decision-making and increased engagement and delivery. As an experienced Sales and Marketing executive in the corporate B2B space, Richard moved into the Brand sector over the past ten years with this covering executive personal branding and how organisations can strengthen their brand and culture through their people. As a technology and systems enthusiast Richard has designed and developed many operating platforms throughout his career and is a strong believer that when good people, process and systems come together superior service can be provided consistently. As Operations Director Richard coordinates the day-to-day operation, the national supply of products and services and oversees the new multiuser platform necessary for all interactions across the group.
